Flooding

There have been several reports of flooding in Paulding County today. Use caution when driving and don’t ever try to ford water in a car; even six inches of water can disable some smaller vehicles!

The flood watch has been extended through Monday evening and may become a warning if the rain continues.

Update: Avoid McClung Rd at Davis Rd for the next several hours due to flooded roads. Roads are closed in the area. (7:07pm)

Update: AVOID Morningside Dr for the next several hours due to road flooded. ROAD CLOSED. (7:11pm)

Update: AVOID Mein Mitchell Rd @ Bramley Walk Subd for the next several hours due to roads flooded. Subd entrances CLOSED (7:16pm)

Update: AVOID Greenfield Rd off of Hwy 278 for the next several hours due to flooding. ROAD CLOSED (7:18pm)

Update: AVOID Rakestraw Mill Rd @ McGarity Elementary for the next several hours due to flooding. ROAD CLOSED (7:21pm)

Update: AVOID Rich Davis Rd for the next several hours due to flooding. ROAD CLOSED (7:25pm)

Update: AVOID Hwy 278 between Depot Dr and the county line for the next several hours due to flooding. (7:55pm)

Update: AVOID Holland Rd (between Mt. Tabor Church Rd and Hwy 92) for the next several hours due to flooding. ROAD CLOSED (8:27pm)
