ACROSS THE AREA DUE TO WARM SURFACE AND GROUND TEMPERATURES.
WHERE BRIEF BURSTS OF HIGHER INTENSITY SNOWFALL ARE PRESENT…A
TEMPORARY DUSTING IS POSSIBLE ACROSS THE AREA.

*  IMPACTS…GROUND TEMPERATURES REMAIN RELATIVELY WARM THIS EARLY
IN THE SEASON…SO MUCH OF THE SNOW WILL MELT UPON IMPACT
LIMITING TRAVEL IMPACTS.

Severe storms are expected this evening and tonight until 4AM Wednesday. The storms are associated with an approaching cold front.

Primary hazards include the risk of a isolated tornado, damaging winds, and large hail.

Pay close attention to rapidly changing weather conditions and monitor local media and/or NOAA Weather Radio for later statements.

Those with outdoor plans should plan to take cover immediately if thunder and/or lighting is observed.

* AT 1241 PM EST…NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING A TORNADO 10 MILES SOUTHWEST OF DALLAS…MOVING NORTHEAST AT 50 MPH.

* OTHER LOCATIONS IN THE WARNING INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO HIRAM…ACWORTH…KENNESAW AND MARIETTA.
