At 1027 AM EDT...National Weather Service doppler radar
and surface observations indicated a wake low developing on the
western edge of the precipitation shield that extended along a line
extending from near Taylorsville to near Hillcrest. The wake low
will produce strong gusty winds of 35 to 45 mph. Numerous reports
of downed trees and power lines have already come in from many
locations in North Georgia.
 
  HAZARD...strong gusty winds 35 to 45 mph.
 
  IMPACT...Strong winds have developed behind a storm system. Expect
           an increased potential for downed trees and
           powerlines...along with blowing around of unsecured
           objects.
 
Some locations in the path of these storms include
Atlanta, Marietta, Newnan, Douglasville, Lagrange, Carrollton,
Canton, Fayetteville, Dallas, Franklin, Sandy Springs, Roswell,
Smyrna, Peachtree City, East Point, Kennesaw, Woodstock, Acworth,
Union City and Forest Park.
