Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts. There is some uncertainty in the amount of
rain forecast in this situation. An increase in thunderstorm
activity in the Gulf of Mexico tonight could diminish the amount
of rain and flooding seen in Georgia. Correspondingly... a
decrease in Gulf thunderstorms could enhance rainfall.

Continue to monitor the latest forecasts and possible warnings
and be prepared to take action should flooding develop.
