Winter Weather Advisory Continues

... Winter Weather Advisory now in effect until 1 PM EST this
afternoon... 

* locations... generally along and north of a line from Franklin to
  Jackson to Warrenton.

* Hazards... black ice on roads and bridges.

* Timing... this morning.

* Temperatures... temperatures will remain below freezing this
  morning... however by afternoon most areas will see temperatures
  above freezing.

* Impacts... black ice on roads and bridges will create hazardous
  driving conditions.

* Winds... northwest winds of 20 to 30 mph with gusts to 35 to 40
  mph.

Precautionary/preparedness actions... 

A Winter Weather Advisory means that periods of snow... sleet... or
freezing rain will cause travel difficulties. Be prepared for
slippery roads and limited visibilities... and use caution while
driving.

    1. I haven’t had any reports yet, but based on the temperatures overnight I’d exercise extreme caution if you decide to go out. There could be areas of black ice on any road in the county, especially less traveled roads and low areas. I’ll be heading out shortly and will report back with what I see.
